Poggitazzi Farm
Poggitazzi Farm extends across a total of 430 hectares and encompasses cultivated fields, woodland, vineyards and olive groves. The fields on the plain are used for the cultivation of cereals (on rotation) but wine and olives are the mainstays of the farm. The wildlife reserve, managed by a 10-member consortium, takes up a large part of the farm. The hunting reserve concentrates on the repopulation of hares, and from September to January it is possible to engage in the programmed culling of pheasants and hoofed animals.
